Noah's ark
- it is program music (ie there's a story behind the music)

Bar 102:
(flute, alto saxophone, mallets, clarinet)
- melody, rhythm
- alto saxophone: know your notes well

Bar 197:
(flute, alto saxophone)
- staccato
- alto saxophone follow flutes' length of notes
(euphoniums)
- sing out
- not too much though

West side story

general:
[ in the beginning (the waltz part)]
- gentle
- short staccato

bar 3:
(woodwinds)
- sing out

bar 9:
(melody people)
- emphasise 1st quaver after the 2 crotchets

andante moderato:
(everyone)
- emotional
- sing

bar 262:
(flute)
- main melody
- learn to vibrato

bar 352:
(everyone)
- connect all crotchets

well, as you all see, there isn't much on what you guys have to work on this time.
this is so because many of the parts for noah's ark are basically what you all are already supposed to have written down in your score.
whatever is repeated will not be here.
and as usual, i dont see many pencils around.
well, 12 days only.
and in just a few hours time, it will be 11 days.
i'll see what i can do to force you people to bring a pencil with you.
