hi all again! xD
well, basically just here to update on events coming up in case all of you still dont know.
14th to 16th nov: band camp
22nov (tentatively): ensemble competition [it applies to junior band too]
11th to 13th dec: band chalet
please check the noticeboard for the times of the band practices instead of asking the BLs or SLs.
unless there are additional practices that are not confirmed yet.
once the BLs know, they will immediately tell the SLs to inform their section.
so dont worry.
10 days to band camp.
18 days to ensemble competition.
37 days to band chalet.
*the number of days include today.
ensemble competition is not far away.
18 days is not very long.
and in actual fact, your ensemble pieces should be ready by band camp.
so that is just 10 days.
excluding today, thursday [deepavali], next saturday and sunday, you have only 6 days to practise.
so is that a lot?
and you also have your major scales and minor scales by band camp too.
yet..
so few of you are coming back.
even if you think you can play everything very well, it is an ensemble.
ensemble not solo.
help others if they need help.
all of you in an ensemble need to work together.
and playing in an ensemble needs time to work everything out.
well, that's all ive got to say today.
