yeah yeah yeah!
we did it!GOLD! haha..well done everyone..even those who did nt take part in SYF, thks for practising so hard.
like what mr tan said, the results are nt tt impt.what matter is tt we hv learnt in d process. i m sure tt everyone has indeed improved on their skills. always remember what u hv learnt, wad d seniors hv taught and do ur best to pass this skills dwn to ur juniors.
although we hv gt our gold, we shud nt be proud or complacent. Mr Kiang said this: we are a gold band only on this two pieces. let's strive to make every piece tt we play sound like a gold band music.. boasting is also nt allowed. NEVER PUT YOUR EGO INFRONT OF YOU.
Comments on tt day's performance:
-we were doing fahion parade on d stage :)
-we took d longest time to settle down
-we are just playing the roght notes, music has nt come in yet:(
-we are soft, not projecting
Let's do our best to maintain our gold 2 yrs ltr ok? Sec2s n sm Sec3s, jiayou!!we cannot afford to drop..its only gold or gwh..
remember 2yrs ago's SYF? we were forced to play infrt of d whole sch. this yr, after bugging the band teachers, we will be playing for the school on tues!! this time we will be proud of what we hv got. No crying, only joy and happiness!!!!we should really thk d teachers for helping us arrange this. Must show d sch tt we r a gold band on tues ok?
Loads of things to look foward to although SYF is over. July concert, champion's night...let's keep up the gd work and continue practising ok?Right now, it's time to mug..go!go!go!

tmr is THE DAY.
remember everyth tt d conductors hv taught u guys. MOST IMPORTANTLY, dun freak out.tt will be the biggest mistake tt we can make. relax play and we will be fine. for those nt feeling well, pls rest well..GIMA tmr.
block out d audience. block out the adjudicators. the only ppl existing tmr on stage is the band and mr tan. pls do not STARE into the score.some funny things will bound to happen tmr.remember its nv d conductor's fault.we r suppose to WATCH his every beat. THINK before u play.
remember wad yiyong told u guys. we will make it tmr cuz we hv to.

hey guess wad? ONE MORE DAY to syf..
continue working hard for just ONE MORE day and everything will be over..well almost everything.. d memories tt we have will always be with us.
we only hv ONE chance to perform our pieces to d judges.make sure tt it is d bestest performance u ever put up. don't come back with any regrets.we hv spent so many months preparing for tues so pls don't freak out. anticipate d performance.take note, its NOT a compeitition it is a PERFORMANCE.feel what u r going to play MIPIE and GIMA.. we will do well!
